Mechanical copyright (MCPS) publishing is paid on every issue and all relevant licences obtained and wherever possible, performing artists have been located and paid a ‘thank you’ fee.

Unlike many other of the ‘bootleg’ and ‘box set bandit’ labels that specialised in reissues of American music within the public domain recordings (i.e. over 50 years old) Frog has always endeavoured to do the job both properly and legally.  With an unofficial motto of ‘sound is everything’ and with the generosity and enthusiasm of collectors and enthusiasts throughout the world, we continue to source the rarest and best known copies of vintage jazz & blues original 78s.   Most respected sound restorers Nick Dellow and Doug Benson have both  become valued members of the Frog team.
