Count Basie: Through His Own Eyes - BBC4 23rd Oct 2020 21:00(UK)

Frog Record's good friend Peter Vacher has asked us to spread the word about a remarkable film being aired on BBC4 television. Peter is proud to have been involved as a 'jazz advisor' to the production.

The film is an excellent study of Count Basie and makes much use of director Jeremy Marre's exclusive access to Basie’s own correspondence and previously unseen family movies. One - not to be missed by all discerning Jazz fans.

BBC4 Friday 23rd October 2020 21:00
